Meet the Parents

At last we meet! After months of screening procedures, background checks, phone and in-person interviews -- I finally meet the Intended Parents, Jillian and Anthony. I had heard brief snippets of their ordeal prior to meeting them. But I was not prepared for the emotional upheaval I was about to endure. Hearing their encounter first-hand was equally heart-breaking as well as inspirational. How could two people go through so much sadness and loss and still be such kind-hearted souls?

After a wonderful weekend - it was a mutual decision to move forward with the process. Now it's time for paperwork and the necessary legal contracts.

I completed my match agreement today and I am due to have my IUD taken out tomorrow. Now it's just a matter of time to wait for my body to kick into gear. I've never been so anxious to get my period!
