Thicken Up!

Today is the first of two lining checks and blood draws prior to transfer.
I feel much better than last week -- now that I have some estrogen on board. The patches are a little awkward - especially trying to scrub off the little lint outlines. But the alternative would be intramuscular shots -- so I'm not complaining too loudly. Tee hee...
So today's results are....
Lining measurement: 7.4mm (needed to be >6mm)
Estrogen: 45 (needed to be >50) wah wah...
Meaning...I get a B+. Nurse Ratched says to add Estrace (oral tablet) to my daily regimen to plump up my serum estrogen - Even though my lining is ON POINT. But -- I will do what I am told.
Next update will be a week from today with the second appointment.
It feels like the FET schedule is dragging and the transfer is still so far away (2 whole weeks). I am slightly anxious and excited -- a unique mixture of eagerness and worry. I am putting a lot of pressure on myself to be a perfect home for their perfect embryo. My brain is flooded with statistics and memories of failed cycles of my patients. My heart is calm and full of trust and faith in my body. Hopefully my brain will listen to my body and dump the neurotic inclinations. Because we know that my uterus is patiently awaiting her houseguest.
