Second pre-transfer appointment today. My stats are:

- Uterine Lining: 13.3 mm (needed to be between 8-12mm)

- Estrogen: 533 (needed to be above 300)

- Progesterone: 0.24 (needed to be <1.0)

In other words....Nailed it.

Next step is completing my last blood draw next week to see a rise in progesterone. Tomorrow is the last Lupron injection -- and as hard as it will be to say good-bye to that daily treat -- it will be replaced by progesterone injections every other day straight into the muscular tissue. I'm nervous about giving myself those bad boys. Patients complain all of the time about the progesterone side effects (mostly redness, welts, soreness at the injection site -- every now and then a case of cellulitis pops up). I'm sure it's mostly due to technique and not actually problems with the medication itself. Here's to starting new meds next week!
